Citizens of countries that are members of Hauge:

India, Pakistan do not need to legalise at the Lithuanian consulate,

it is enough to provide an apostilled criminal record certificate.

• Id card for 2 years is granted in the country of the client's location immediately!

The following information is required from the candidate

- Foreign passport (photo|scan copy)

- Diploma or certificate of higher or specialised secondary education | Document on completion of specialised courses or advanced training courses (only for residence permit).

- Police certificate on absence of criminal record (photo/scan copy), its translation into English with apostille and legalisation at the Lithuanian Consulate (apostille and legalisation required only for residence permit)

Information about the candidate

- Address of residence|registration

- Date of marriage (if married) (only for residence permit application)

- Contact phone number (employer will call this number)

- Which countries have been visited in the last 5 years (except for EU countries and country of residence) (only for residence permit)

- Applicant's questionnaire (to be filled in by the applicant himself/herself online after receiving the LLG code)

Procedure for obtaining a certificate of no criminal record in the country of residence | Apostillisation | Legalisation

1. Apply to the local Police | Ministry of Internal Affairs | Ministry of Justice for a criminal record certificate and obtain its original with a stamp
2. Have the document translated into English and apostilled at the Ministry of Internal Affairs or another government agency in your country of residence
3. Get the document legalised at the Lithuanian Consulate in any country

P.S. A criminal record certificate must be provided for the last 5 years.

If the candidate has been previously convicted, he | she should provide a certificate of former conviction, the lawyers of our agency will check the compliance with the article of conviction and give an answer

- If the migration department decides that the offence was minor, we will prepare a package of documents for obtaining a residence permit

- If the conviction was significant, we will not be able to issue the documents to the client and will refund the prepayment in full.

The following documents are included in the cost of the application package for a 2-year residence permit

- Invitation to work from the employer

- Employment contract containing all terms and conditions of employment, financing and confirming the employee's place of residence upon arrival at the company

- Mediation letter indicating the LLG code to obtain the Migris Application Number on your own

- Other related documents

- After receiving the documents from the employer, the applicant must make an appointment at the Lithuanian Visa Application Centre (if there is one in the applicant's country of residence) or Lithuanian Consulate within the period of validity of the letter of guarantee (Tarpininkavimo rastas) provided by us and inform us about the date of the appointment (if the applicant does not submit the documents to the consulate within 90 days, we can extend the letter of guarantee for the necessary period of time).

- The processing time of the documents at the consulate is approximately 2-3 weeks, the date of processing should be clarified in the applicant's country of residence

- If the consul refuses to issue an ID-card due to the end of employee quotas or for other reasons beyond the employer's control, we will not be able to refund the paid amount, but we will provide an opportunity to file a free appeal to the consulate within 30 days from the date of refusal - this will significantly increase the chances of obtaining a repeated residence permit in Lithuania!
